Among the most important updates that were mentioned are the Land Economy 2.0 update, the Dar-B helper robot, and the Gilded Update. Let’s take a look at what they’re all about.
Mines of Dalarnia: Land Economy 2.0 Update

The Mines of Dalarnia Land 2.0 update solves some key issues that have been affecting gameplay as well as the play-to-earn aspect of the game.
Some of the main issues that players flagged with the way the land economy works in the game include:
- The difficulty to compete in the market if your land is deemed suboptimal by other players
- The one-size-fits-all terraforming capsule logic makes it so it costs the same to replenish good and bad pl0ts alike despite good plots fetching the better price on the market
- The flat universal 1 DAR rent diminishes the competitive edge of the game
- Landowners don’t actually need to engage with the game or with their land at all, they just need to wait for their plot to empty and then pay to have it refilled
Obviously, these key issues affect gameplay and don’t do much for developing the game for players who are committed to playing.
How will the new update help?

The new update hopes to address these issues. Among the key changes that are being implemented in the short term are:
- It will no longer cost the same to replenish the land, rather each plot will have a resource number that scales down from 100 to 1 and players will need to replenish the plot when the resources run out.
- The cost to replenish will be determined by factors such as what resources are found on the plot, and how many resources need to be replenished
- New terraforming capsules will be introduced but they will involve fewer resources to craft to make them more accessible.
It’s hoped that this update will allow land owners with less desirable plots to have cheaper replenishment options and charge lower prices which will in turn hopefully create a market for copper and iron mining.
This new update, dubbed Land Economy 2.0, is due to be released several weeks before Version 1.1 : Deeper Depths Update.
Mines of Dalarnia: Dar-B The Helper Robot Update

An adorable new helper bot called DAR-B will be helping miners along on their adventures in Dalarnia. DAR-B the Helper Bot is designed to help players with issues relating to gameplay mechanics as well as UI features.
There’ll be a brand new gameplay tutorial that will guide gamers through a level map with several prompts that teach players how to carry out basic tasks. These tasks include how to mine, collect gems, battle monsters, and locate the exits within the NFT game.
Experienced players will be able to skip the tutorial, of course. But it will be handy for those who need a refresher and new players alike.
And, the Deeper Depths update is expected to release even more bots like DAR-B. But, we have no information on whether they’ll be just as adorable.
Mines of Dalarnia: The Gilded Mine Update

The Gilded Mine update is another exciting update released by Mines of Dalarnia. This change isn’t expected until the major content update, but game developers have already teased new features that are sure to excite players.
The Gilded Mine is currently the main source of Gold resources within the Dalarniaverse. Players must achieve a minimum Power Level of 12 before they are able to enter this particular mine.
And the new update will make it even more tantalizing. For instance, there will be a brand new map generation algorithm to create these exciting levels.
But also, players will be able to explore unpredictable cave networks with various new locations and challenges sprinkled around the Gilded Mine.
New monsters will be introduced as part of the update too. In fact, Mines of Dalarnia released a brief YouTube video showing what the Stalk Monster gameplay will be like within the game. You can view the video below.
What is Mines of Dalarnia all about?
Mines of Dalarnia is a play-to-earn (P2E) blockchain game that blends combat and dungeon crawling to create a show-stopping adventure.
As with other blockchain games, it features true ownership, play and earn features, as well as vibrant economic incentives.
Mines of Dalarnia: The game concept
Set in the year 11.752, this dystopian game features a benevolent AI known as the Onemind which guides the Metagalactic Collective and ensures peace and prosperity. The game starts at the point when the Onemind reveals a revolutionary new technology called Terraforming Capsules.

The capsules allow planets to undergo millions of years of evolution in seconds. Three planets in Dalarnia undergo these transformative experiments. Despite rumors of abominations and bizarre formations, thousands flock to the newly formed planets experiencing a space-based gold rush.
The player enters the game as a hopeful miner looking to make their fortune on one of these Dalarnia planets.
Players can collect rare resources in-game and then upgrade and craft equipment to earn rewards. There is also an open market that allows them to trade and exchange NFTs. Landowners are also eligible for awesome rewards.
