Our weekly roundup of the Top 10 Blockchain games for April 21st, with data from user activity. In the last week, not much has changed in the past seven days; splinterlands still holds the P2E industry in a chokehold as it tops the chart for a second consecutive week.
We have a couple of surprises here; surprisignly, Axie Infinity dropped off the Top 10! And we have a couple of first timers too. One of them, Pegaxy, makes an entry into the top 10 due to the game’s recently launched Beta Program.
Without further ado, here are the top 10 games with a strong presence on the blockchain as of April 21st, 2022.
Splinterlands
With a whopping 508k players in the last week and a 1.6% increase over the previous weeks’ numbers, Splinterlands is currently the hottest play-to-earn game. Splinterlands is a card game in which every card is a collectible NFT.
Splinterlands, built on the Hive blockchain, offers daily missions, seasonal rewards every two weeks, guilds, a tournament system, and an in-game marketplace with safe card rentals!
Players compete in one-on-one conflicts in Splinterlands. For the match, each player chooses a summoner, followed by a selection of creatures that are either neutral or of the same element as the summoner. Water Summoners, for example, can summon both water and neutral creatures.
Simply by playing, players can receive cards and token rewards.
The land gameplay arrives in late 2022.
Alien Worlds
Alien Worlds is an NFT metaverse game where players travel to seven different worlds. Planets in Aliens World function similarly to districts in real life. 
Each planet has its unique qualities and governed by its own rules. Alien Worlds had 365k users over the last seven days, a 28% reduction compared to users from the previous week.
Players can earn money through mining assets, battling other explorers, and renting out their territory.
MOBOX: NFT Farmer
MOBOX NFT Farmer is a free-to-play and earn-to-play game centred on NFTs. It is presently one of the top ten blockchain games, according to DappRadar, with over 176k players in the last week.
Unlike Sunflower Farmers, where you must plant and harvest various items to earn tokens (money), MOBOX NFT Farmer concentrates on growing NFTs. The game’s goal is to provide liquidity in the pools, and as a reward, you will obtain a one-of-a-kind NFT.
But what distinguishes MOBOX NFT Farmer?
To begin with, it has a one-of-a-kind infrastructure that combines Gaming, DeFi, and NFTs. MOBOX’s DeFi ecosystem is expanding and integrated with unique NFTs.

Users will be able to establish virtual firms, for example.
Currently, players can only claim buildings in San Francisco and not any other city. Upland intends to expand the service to cover additional cities progressively. They also plan to include challenges and rewards for players who purchase themed collections of properties, such as buying all cinemas in a specific town. It currently boasts 143k weekly players.
Pegaxy
Pegaxy is a horse racing simulator that allows you to participate in the game and its environment in various ways.
Twelve horses compete in each race, with the top three horses collecting prizes in the game reward token VIS. Currently, all race positions are determined by RNG (Random Number Generator). Still, with version 2, this will change to consider factors such as changing environment/stadium conditions. This links to each horse’s attributes, the food fed to a horse, and the clothing gear apparel worn by your horse.
The beta version of Pegaxy was released in Q4 2021, along with its marketplace, leasing system, and breeding programs.

Sunflower Land
Sunflower Land is a polygon network-launched Play-to-Earn NFT farming game. To establish farming empires in the game, players must plant, mine, craft, fish, fight, and execute other chores. 68k players indicate that this game is no slouch.
Sunflower Land tokens can be obtained by planting and harvesting crops. Sunflower seeds, for example, can be purchased for $0.0002 SFF, harvested, and sold for $0.0004 SFF. Sunflowers, potatoes, pumpkin, cauliflower, radish, and other vegetables are cultivable. SFF is the Sunflower Farmers project’s native token. This game had the most significant growth in the NFT P2E game category over the last seven days, and it had a whopping 54% growth. The number of players totalled 110k.
SecondLive
SecondLive is a “Diverse 3D Virtual Space” where you become your ideal virtual avatar and do many real-life things in different spaces, such as virtual exhibitions, singing and dancing, shopping, and handling business. You can also use the SecondLive Avatar to make your content and profit from your creations.
This is SecondLive’s first entry into our weekly top 10 blockchain games list. It grew by 13% and 80k unique subscribers.
DeFi Kingdoms
Defi Kingdoms is one of the most significant DeFi / GameFi projects available in the crypto realm. The game has been active for a few months, and the total value locked within the ecosystem is currently over $400 million. DFK held up to 900 million dollars in player and investor monies at its peak in January 2022.
The ecosystem has repeatedly guaranteed huge APY to its holders, with rates reaching up to 5000%. We should mention that DFK is, at best, a risky investment due to the same volatility as the rest of the crypto market and DeFi platforms. DeFi Kingdoms comes in at 6th place with 68k players, but raked in $61m in total revenue.
BombCrypto
Another first-timer rounds up our weekly Top 10 blockchain games list, BombCrypto, a Unity-based play-to-earn game built on the Binance Smart Chain. BombCrypto was first released on September 30th, 2021, by Lahm Ho, the founder of Senspark. It ended the week with 67k users.
Sensepark is a game developer based in Vietnam that was launched in 2011. The company employs around fifty people and based in Ho Chi Minh. Bombsquad: Bomber Battle is a similar game that the team has previously released. On the Google Play Store, Bombsquad has over a million downloads.
